News and Events Will Powell Promoted to Project Administrator at TradeWinds Mechanical Services September 16, 2009, Exeter, NH -- Will Powell, of Portsmouth, NH, has been promoted to Project Administrator. Powell previously led the Accounts Receivable department at TradeWinds. Project Administrator is a new position in the Operations Department and will focus on transparency of the workload, reduction of stress and an increase in quality. As Project Administrator, Powell will create the process or work flow by which a project is successfully completed. He will also serve as an administrative point of contact for TradeWinds' Field Managers and Regional Managers. Dave Hansen, Director of Operations explains the new position as "a way to take the stress off of our Field Managers. Powell will work to be in touch with TradeWinds' field managers; to answer their questions; to make sure they know what their options are. The goal of the Project Manager is to have everything in the system so it's all measurable and transparent; so the process of a successful project can be documented." Powell has a BS degree in Entrepreneurship from Grove City College in Grove City, PA. He is enjoying being on the front end of TradeWinds' work process. "When I worked in Accounts Receivable, I was at the end of the process. Things had already been done, work performed and a bill is left to be paid. But my new role as Project Administrator involves the present, working on things that haven't happened yet. That's a challenging shift in thinking that I'm glad to take on," notes Powell.
